Sermon: "No Matter What - Defined By HIS Love"

This week our Gospel reading introduces us to a foreigner, a woman, whose daughter is "possessed by an unclean spirit".  She comes to Jesus, begging Him to heal her little girl.  This woman herself is unclean by Jewish standards.  She knows this, but it doesn't stop her.  In her steadfast persistence, she challenges Jesus - and wins.  Wow!  No matter what, she's not giving up until she sees the healing power of God's love in action.  No matter what, that love defines her.
