Sermon: "No Matter What - Resist and Persist in Christ"

Based on scriptures James 3:13-4:3, 7-8a and Mark 9:30-37.

This week as we think about our own "no matter what", we are invited to journey with Jesus and His disciples along the road through Galilee.  We hear Him telling them once more that He will be arrested and killed, and after three days He will rise up, conquering even the power of death.  But once more, they don't understand.  I mean, it does sound more than a bit impossible, right?  They know they're supposed to understand by now, so they don't ask Him to explain.
